Half-Dragons from Eight Houses

$30.00

Eight Great Houses of Westeros

  • A set of golden coins for some of the major houses of Westeros. These Half-Dragons are struck in brass and feature a unique depiction of the character along with their house's sigil. A Half-Dragon is worth 15 Moons or 105 silver Stags.    Each coin is made from 5.8 grams of solid brass

  • 1 in (2.6 cm) diameter

Includes:

Daenerys Targaryen Mark of Meereen:

Daenerys Targaryen is shown on this Mark as Queen of Meereen, surrounded by her three dragons: Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. On the reverse is a Meereenese pyramid and broken manacles, symbolizing her freeing of the slaves. She had this coin minted to replace the concept of slaves as currency on the city. The golden Mark is worth about half as much as a Westerosi Dragon.

Robb Stark Half-Dragon:

Robb Stark, son of Eddard, rebelled against the Iron Throne after Robert and Eddard's deaths. He proclaimed himself King in the North and fought for independence. He is shown with his direwolf Grey Wind.

Stannis Baratheon Half-Dragon:

Stannis, younger brother of Robert Baratheon, rebelled against Joffrey Baratheon after Robert's death, claiming that the Throne should have gone to himself. This coin features the flaming-heart-and-stag sigil that he takes as his own.

Tywin Lannister Half-Dragon:

Tywin Lannister is head of House Lannister, one of the most powerful lords in Westeros, and father to Jamie, Cersei and Tyrion Lannister. Although ruthless, Tywin is calculating and politically savvy, and House Lannister has become immensely powerful and respected under his leadership. These coins were minted in the Westerlands with Tywin as Warden of the West.

Quellon Greyjoy Half-Dragon:

Convinced by his sons to rebel against House Targaryen, Quellon died at sea in the battle at the Mander’s mouth against the Shield Islands. Quellon is shown with a sword and crown as self-proclaimed King of the Iron Islands.

Oberyn Martell Half-Dragon:

Oberyn Nymeros Martell, the Red Viper, is a skilled fighter, scholar, and diplomat. He is the brother of Doran and Elia. He plotted against the Lannisters for years after the murder of Elia during Robert's Rebellion.

Mace Tyrell Half-Dragon:

Mace Tyrell is Lord of Highgarden, Warden of the South and the head of House Tyrell. Perhaps the most powerful house in Westeros, House Tyrell can muster large forces on both land and sea, and only the Lannisters are wealthier.

Golden Hand of Garth XII Gardener:

Garth XII Gardener was a King of the Reach, his lineage tracing back to the mythical Garth Greenhand. The Gardeners ruled as Kings of the Reach until they rode to meet Aegon the Conqueror and met their end on the Field of Fire. These Hands are some of the oldest coins found in Westeros, and are known to be carried by Lady Olenna Tyrell.
